About Us

About Us

Facilitate Change LLC works to dismantle systems of privilege and oppression through community organizing and dialogue-based education. Through dialogue facilitation, social justice coaching, and community organizing we work to create spaces where people and the organizations they make up reflect on how privilege and oppression impact their day-to-day lives. In the fight for social justice, dialogue IS action.

Offerings

  • Facilitation Fellowship

    • The Facilitation Fellowship is a 12-session series centering personal and community healing as a practice for collective liberation. It is a space for fellows to build and deepen their relationships to themselves and each other. This is done through the practices of personal storytelling and holding space with and for one another, allowing fellows to participate in dialogue as action. Limited to 12 participants, the Fellowship is an experience of the power of intentional community and its ability to help us unlearn the unique ways privilege and oppression have been internalized by each of us.
  • Community Conversations

    • Community conversations are intentional spaces for individuals to engage in healing through dialogue. Conversations have ranged from race based affinity spaces such as White Accountability or BIPOC (Black Indigenous People of Color) Healing to a series referred to as Dinner & Dialogue. While Facilitate Change offers dialogue topics, community members are also encouraged to make suggestions and co-host conversations. Community conversations are FREE and space is limited to 15 participants per session. Throughout the pandemic all sessions will be VIRTUAL -- held via Zoom.
  • Client Services

    • Facilitate change works with clients to create a space for individual and collective culture change to better center equity and justice in all they do. All contracts are fully customized through communication between Facilitate Change and the potential client. After a preliminary needs assessment conversation, a proposal will be created with a recommended course of action. Those proposals may include organizing, facilitation, and/or coaching hours. Clients range from individuals doing liberation work to organizations in private, non profit, and community settings.
